One of our good friends was teaching one afternoon at a ACIM gathering and he said something that really “stuck”, he said “Keep the top end open.” By keeping our top end open, we are in a state of grace to receive whatever the Holy Spirit wants us to hear. It's the hearing part we have trouble with. The ego is right there with bells and whistles and we forget how easy it is to ask for guidance or simply say "Help". God's voice speaks to me all through the day. All we have to do is be still and listen.
